Tie Dye shirts

A tradition for Worthington Estates is creating tie dye t-shirts for every grade level.  It's a fabulous and fun project.  We use procion professional art dye and have had great results when used on 100% cotton shirts.

The entire school will were them on our Fabulous Fun Day, this Wednesday.

  1. Procion dyes and 100% cotton tee shirts is the best choice. The colors will jump.

  2. I have seen a number of schools doing tie dye lately. Its a great project for the kids cheap and there is a cool shirt left over to wear and show others. its a win win.

  3. I do use Procion. But I make a more diluted mixture to save money for the 500 shirts we dye.
